Kennedy Roberts

Hi! I'm Kennedy, a 16-year-old singer-songwriter from Dallas Fort Worth. I play guitar and piano, but my voice is my true instrument. While I listen to all types of music, the sound that resonates with me most are songs by legends like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Elvis Presley, and Eva Cassidy. You'll often catch me singing these soulful sounds while on stage or even just hanging around at home.

Music lodged itself into my heart from a very early age. As a little girl I used to sing all the time no matter where I was - the park, in the stands at my brother's basketball games, the McDonald's playland - it didn't matter who I had for an audience as long as I was singing.  Once I started taking piano, voice, and more recently guitar my love of music grew.

There's something magical about standing under the spotlight, sharing my songs with an audience. Whether it's an intimate coffeehouse or a grand stage, I come alive when I sing. The connection - the way music bridges hearts - is indescribable. And that's what I want to share with the world.
